Dongchul, the Emperor-beggar dog with a stray dog-like appearance, became the talk of the town for his pet-like manners and love for tasty food. He frequented the food alley and was known to pick only seven restaurants. He used to visit these places with his owner, but since the owner’s passing, Dongchul visits alone, perhaps waiting for his owner’s return.
The director of the furniture factory where Dongchul resides had brought him in and cared for him more than anyone. However, he too passed away, leaving Dongchul waiting and wandering aimlessly in the hopes of his owner’s return.
Despite his grief and unmotivated state, Dongchul was healthy except for his excessive subcutaneous fat. So, the factory team decided to get him groomed and put him on a diet, hoping to help him start anew. They put a necklace and harness on him and gave him a snackie backpack. Dongchul was now ready for a special meal and a new beginning.
After the grooming session, Dongchul looked refreshing, and the residents were amazed by his transformation. They decided to give him a special meal to help him lose weight, and Dongchul was happy to comply. Though he misses his beloved owner dearly, Dongchul is now on a path to a healthier and happier life, surrounded by people who care for him.
