Rescued son brings final peace to dying mother
Viktor Larkhill and his rescue team were called upon to help a sick dog, but what they found was much more than they could have ever imagined. The dog’s mother was left behind, sick and alone in an abandoned house nearby.
When the rescue team found her, she was so ill that she couldn’t move and her fur was gone, revealing scabs and open wounds from a severe skin disease. The mother dog had given up on life and was waiting to die, but her son was safe and that gave her peace.
Rescue workers named the mother dog Helen and her son Oscar and rushed them both to the hospital. With months of special care and treatment, Helen and Oscar underwent an incredible transformation. Their fur grew back, and their wounds healed entirely.
Helen was later adopted into a loving family, where she is spoiled and adored, while Oscar also found a forever home. Thanks to the efforts of the rescue team, a mother and son were given a second chance at life and love.
