A Tiny Puppy’s Journey from Abuse to a Loving Home
In September 2022, a heart-wrenching video of a small puppy lying in a wooden bridge with severe burns went viral on a VK group. The girl who posted the video asked for help, and Isabella stepped forward and rescued the puppy, whom she later named Aqui.
The neighbor who left Aqui in the bridge turned out to be a drunk middle-aged man, and his cruel actions had scarred Aqui’s back with hot water. Despite this, Aqui’s health gradually improved after a quick vet check and vaccination.
Aqui joined a shelter with other orphaned puppies, and they all saw their caretaker as their mother. They even went on a picnic trip to the park together, and Aqui was known for his mischievous behavior.
Over time, Aqui grew quickly, and he received periodic vet check-ups from his loving caretakers. Finally, in January 2023, Aqui found his forever home with a family that adores him.
Unfortunately, the police discovered two more adult dogs in Aqui’s previous owner’s house, who were also in a bad situation. The owner was charged with animal abuse and agreed never to have another pet. Although we can only hope that he kept his promise, Aqui’s story is a reminder of the importance of treating animals with kindness and compassion.
