At the Humane Society of Charlotte, we believe in the power of positive reinforcement and strengthening the human-animal bond through our dog training programs. Our training philosophy is rooted in behavioral science, ensuring that you and your furry friend have a fun and effective learning experience.
What Can I Expect From Dog Training?
Our dog training classes are designed to help you establish a healthy and harmonious relationship with your pup. By understanding how your dog’s mind works, you can effectively encourage positive behavior. To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, we require the following vaccines: DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. Simply email the vaccine documentation to [email protected] or bring them to your first class.
NOTICE: Our training sessions are not suitable for dogs that excessively bark at other dogs or people, exhibit extreme fear, or show signs of aggression. For exclusively in-home behaviors such as potty training, crate training, separation anxiety, chewing/destruction, or territorial behaviors, we recommend seeking the assistance of a force-free, in-home trainer.
