Neglect depresses her till she meets this caring person.
Alma had been wandering the streets for weeks, lost and alone. She was hungry, thirsty, and terribly scared. Her fur was scaly, and she was bleeding from several cuts on her body. She was an 8-year-old dog, but she looked much older because of her suffering. One day, a kind-hearted woman named Silvia saw Alma lying in a corner, barely moving.
She knew she had to help her. She approached Alma slowly, talking in a gentle voice. Alma was scared and wary, but she didn’t run away. She looked up at Silvia with her sad eyes and whimpered softly. Silvia carefully picked Alma up and brought her to a nearby veterinary clinic. The vet was shocked at Alma’s condition.
She was severely malnourished, dehydrated, and had several wounds that needed immediate attention. The vet team quickly got to work, cleaning Alma’s wounds and giving her pain medication. They bathed her and gave her some food, which she ate gratefully. Alma’s condition was critical, but they were hopeful that with the right treatment, she would recover.
Day 8: Alma stayed at the clinic, receiving round-the-clock care. Day 30: Gradually, Alma began to improve. Her wounds started to heal, and her fur became soft and shiny again. Day 50: Silvia took Alma home, where she gave her a warm and cozy bed to sleep in,
Plenty of nutritious food to eat, and lots of love and attention. Alma finally had a home, and she was no longer scared or sad.
Day 61: In time, Alma made a full recovery, and her scars faded away. Day 150: She became a happy and healthy dog, full of energy and love. Silvia and Alma went on many adventures together, exploring the outdoors, playing games, and cuddling up on the couch.
