Family adopts dog they rescued from earthquake rubble while homeless
It’s not uncommon for people to lose their homes and their beloved pets when disaster strikes. However, one family in Turkey chose to do the opposite. After an earthquake destroyed their home and left them homeless, they rescued a fellow homeless creature – a dog trapped under the rubble.
The family, living in Adiyaman, Turkey, was out for a drive with their children when they heard barking coming from the rubble. They quickly got out to investigate and started digging until they reached the trapped dog, whom they named Bincir.
Despite their own difficult circumstances, the family decided to adopt Bincir and make him part of their family. They’re currently staying together in a temporary shelter, and the family is grateful to have each other.
