Determined dog crawls through junkyard despite broken back and injuries
Nancy, a Doberman, was brutally beaten by her abuser and left to die in a junkyard with a broken back. The cruel monster believed that no one would find the helpless dog and that she would perish alone. However, Nancy had an unwavering will to survive.
Despite her paralysis, Nancy refused to give up and started crawling through the field of glass and metal shards in the junkyard, bleeding and crying for help. Her determination paid off when a kind-hearted person noticed her and rushed her to the hospital.
Nancy was in dire need of emergency surgery to repair her damaged spine. The surgery was successful, but the trauma had left her paralyzed in her hind legs. The vets tried their best to help her recover, but her back legs remained unresponsive.
Nonetheless, Nancy’s caregivers were determined to help her lead a happy life. They provided her with water therapy, massages, and treadmill exercises, which helped her front legs gradually heal. But because her back legs were immobile, they got her a wheelchair so she could play and socialize with other rescue dogs.
Nancy’s resilience and spirit throughout her treatment have been nothing short of remarkable. She has shown promising movement in her back legs and has even attempted to walk without the assistance of her wheelchair. Her caregivers are committed to continuing her physical therapy and helping her recover completely.
