Alaskan Family’s Adorable Doggy “Daycare” Bus Goes Viral
An Alaskan family’s unique approach to dog-walking has taken the internet by storm. Mo Mountains Mutts, a husband-and-wife dog-walking team, inadvertently became internet sensations after posting a video of their “doggy daycare” bus on social media.
The couple, who never planned to start a business, explained that their dog-walking venture “grew organically over time.” They started with a bike, then moved up to a minivan and finally a large van. But when their van’s tire fell off in the middle of a route one day, they posted a request on their local community page for a large van or a short bus. Luckily, they were able to acquire a bus that had been stranded due to COVID-19.
Mo Thompson, one half of the dog-walking duo, revealed that she and her husband work well together, which enables them to balance work and their eight-month-old son Vern.
In a heartwarming video that has now garnered over 50 million views on TikTok, the couple is seen helping their furry friends onto the bus and settling them into their seats. The dogs are even “buckled in” with a leash to ensure their safety during the ride.
The couple runs their unique puppy bus all year round and also pet-sits on occasion. According to Thompson, the goal of their venture is to not only bring a smile to people’s faces but also to inspire them to exercise and train their dogs.
We hope that this viral video will encourage more people to treat their pets with the love and care they deserve. After all, dogs are not just pets; they are members of our family and deserve to be treated as such.
