A Brave Woman Saves a 10-Week-Old Pitbull Puppy Abandoned in a Plastic Storage Container
A shocking discovery was made in Columbia, Maryland, when a pitbull puppy, barely 10 weeks old, was found abandoned in a plastic container by the roadside. The puppy was in a terrible condition and would not have survived much longer if it wasn’t for the kindness of Jill Eberhart and her son, Thomas. While driving by, they noticed the large plastic container on the side of the road and decided to investigate.
To their surprise, they found the weak and emaciated puppy curled up in the tub. It was an emotional moment for them, and they quickly offered the puppy some water while they waited for animal control to arrive.
The puppy was named Eddy and was taken in by Taylor Hawkins, an animal handler, and animal control officer. Eddy was given the best care possible and received the much-needed TLC and medications that he needed to get stronger. Every night, Hawkins took Eddy home with him to provide him with extra care and attention.
With time, Eddy’s health began to improve significantly, and he started to look like a completely different dog. His once floppy ears now perked up, and he was more energetic and playful than ever before.
The good news is that Eddy has found his forever home and has been adopted by a loving family. However, the investigation into his abandonment continues, and the cruel person(s) responsible must be brought to justice.
