Package Pick-Up Details
Where and When?
Package pick-up will be held at the Sport Chek Women’s Store in Chinook Centre (6455 MacLeod Trail SW) on the following dates:
- Wednesday May 8 – 4pm – 8pm
- Thursday May 9 – 12pm – 8pm
- Friday May 10 – 12pm – 8pm
- Saturday May 11 – 10am – 4pm
Please note that these dates, times, and location may be subject to change. Don’t worry, though! We’ll send you a confirmation email with the final details two weeks prior to the event date.
Can I Pick Up for Someone Else?
Absolutely! If you can’t make it to the package pick-up yourself, you can send someone else. Just make sure they have your confirmation number handy. If you plan on picking up for four or more people, please let us know ahead of time.
Important Information
No Race Day Pick-Up
We want to make sure everyone gets their packages on time, so there will be no race day pick-up available. If you’re unable to make it during the designated pick-up times, please contact us at [email protected] to make alternative arrangements.
Refund Policy
While we understand that things come up, please note that all registration fees are non-refundable. However, we do offer the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program. Let’s Celebrate “Mom” Together
This event is all about celebrating the amazing moms in our lives! Whether you want to run the adidas 10 KM or walk/run the 5 KM, there’s something for everyone. And don’t forget to bring the kids along for the 1 km Little Legs Kids’ Race!
Strollers Are Welcome
If you have little ones, don’t worry! Strollers are welcome for both the 5 KM Run/Walk and the adidas 10 KM Run. We want to make sure everyone can join in on the fun. Please note that children without a 5K bib will not receive a medal or any amenities at the finish line.
Little Legs Kids’ Race
The Little Legs Race is designed specifically for kids 12 years of age and under. Children can run on their own or with one parent/guardian. For each registration, you’ll receive two bibs – one for the child and one for the parent/guardian to run together or retrieve the child at the end of the race.
Family Inclusivity
In an effort to improve family inclusivity and affordability, if your child is already signed up for the Little Legs Race, they are welcome to join you in the 5 KM event without registering. However, if your child is not participating in the Little Legs Race, they must be registered for the 5 KM event.

Parking
Free parking will be available in the south and west lots of Chinook Centre. Arrive early to secure your spot!
Race Day Schedule
- 7:30 AM – Bag Check Opens
- 9:00 AM – adidas 10 KM Race Start
- 9:10 AM – 5 KM Run Race Start
- 9:15 AM – 5 KM Walk Race Start
- 10:30 AM – Little Legs Kids’ Race
- 11:30 AM – Bag Check Closes
Please note that these times are subject to change. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to park, check your bags (if needed), and get to the start line.
Amenities and Course Information
The course will consist of a 5 KM looped course and a 10 KM looped course. Details about the final course route will be released closer to the event. Water and Nuun will be available at aid stations on the course, as well as at the finish line.
Safety First
For the safety of all participants, we discourage the use of headphones during the race. If you do choose to use headphones, please keep the volume low enough to hear important instructions and alerts from course marshals and other participants.
Prizing and Fundraising
We have some exciting prizes lined up for the top 3 finishers in each race distance. Plus, you can win additional prizes by fundraising. Donate or raise a minimum of $500 for either the Calgary Health Foundation – NICU or Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, and you’ll be entered into a draw for a chance to win a $100 Sport Chek gift card.
Make a Difference
By participating in the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run Walk & Wheel, you’ll be making a meaningful impact. Donations can be made online to the Calgary Health Foundation – NICU or Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities. Your support will help improve neonatal care and provide opportunities for children to participate in sports and recreation.
