They were given to Violet the dog and several other dogs who were being attacked by really gruesome metal cages by a passing car. These chains not only prevented the dogs from roaming freely, but they also hurt them.
When she was discovered, Violet was around 2 years old, and NMDOG’s founder and director, Angela Stell, believes she had been incapacitated her entire life.
It is illegal to keep enraged dogs on private property in New Mexico when they are not under human control. Violet and the other five dogs were found there.
In an effort to track out the owners, the property was sent to the local county’s alguacil department, but it appeared that the dogs had been abandoned. They were all taken by NMDOG, including Violet, and the journey toward recovery began.
“Se overemphasized and is still learning a little bit,” Stell combined. They claim that Violet may have been maltreated as a result of her ‘ehaior.
Fortunately, the dog is currently in good health and is recovering from his emotional state. Once his recovery is complete, he will be eligible for adoption.
