He’s a Bag of Bones with Skin Tightly Stretched Over His Frame.
In many years in animal protection, this was the most destroyed body that crossed our path. Meet Seraphim! His eyes were dull and lifeless. He had a look of resignation that broke the hearts of everyone who saw him. When Seraphim first arrived at the animal protection center, he was barely alive. He couldn’t stand on his own, and he had to be carried everywhere. Next day we took him to the vet.
We loaded him into the back of the car, careful not to jostle him too much. Seraphim lay still, his breathing shallow and labored. We put him on the drip to make him fell better. At the vet, he’s very calmed and kept wagging his tail. The vet explained that Seraphim’s suffering from a severe infection
It had gone untreated for so long that it had caused irreparable damage to his organs. The first few weeks were touch and go. Seraphim was too weak to eat on his own, so the staff had to feed him by hand. They would sit with him for hours at a time, coaxing him to take small bites of food and water He got lot of serum, medication, anti inflammatory, antibiotic, and pain killer.
Our little angel is reacting well, feeding, drinking plenty of water He’ll be fine soon!
